How the Town of Perinton Electronics Recycling Process works:

*The Electronics Recycling Program is paused during the winter months from November – April due to the facility and staffing demands of the Snow and Ice Program.

Hazardous Waste Programs

Residents can dispose of Household Hazardous Waste year-round by making an appointment at the Monroe County Ecopark. By offering these collections, we are bringing essential services close to home while encouraging residents to recycle items that are often difficult to dispose of properly.

Community Recycling Day

Each May, the Town of Perinton hosts an annual Community Recycling Day at the Perinton Department of Public Works.

The event offers free electronics recycling and document shredding for Perinton residents, as well as a household hazardous waste collection in partnership with Monroe County.

Appointments are required for the Household Hazardous Waste Collection portion of the event.
