The Town of Perinton is planning a storm sewer improvement project that will install 220 feet of new 24 inch storm sewer pipe in the pavement area at Lancashire Way. All work will be done in the Town’s right-of way between #8 and #14 Lancashire Way. Lancashire Way will remain open during construction with one-way alternating traffic. We anticipate the work starting in late August or early September. The work should take approximately 1-2 weeks to complete.
Temporary restoration of the road and gutters will be done in late fall, permanent restoration will be completed in the spring of 2027.

New York State Road Projects

Lane reduction along State Route 31 over I-490: NYS DOT closed the right lane for eastbound traffic along State Route 31 over Interstate 490 to accommodate bridge repair work. This lane configuration and associated work comes following a recent inspection of the bridge. The lane reduction is slated to be in place for about one month. Motorists utilizing the ramp connecting I-490 eastbound to State Route 31 eastbound will need to follow the temporary signage directing them to yield to traffic before entering State 31.
