Help Shape the Future of Bushnell’s Basin
The Town of Perinton is updating the Subarea Plan for Bushnell’s Basin, and we want your input.
Subarea plans provide a long-term vision for specific areas of the community. This planning effort will help preserve and enhance Bushnell’s Basin’s historic character while reinforcing its identity as a unique Erie Canal hamlet and regional destination.
The plan will explore opportunities for appropriate development and redevelopment, including infill development and revitalization, improve connectivity through streetscape enhancements and pedestrian and bicycle accommodations, and identify projects that enhance the canalfront, strengthen public spaces and gathering places, and support tourism, recreation, local businesses, and community life.
