Town of Perinton Program Scholarships

Making Recreation Accessible for Everyone in Perinton

About the Program Scholarships

The Town of Perinton, in partnership with the Friends of Perinton Recreation and Parks, offers Program Scholarships to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate in camps, classes, and community events, regardless of financial circumstances.

Whether it’s swim lessons, after-school programs, youth sports, art classes, summer camp, or our adult fitness classes, our scholarship fund helps families offset program costs so that everyone can learn, grow, and belong.

Who Can Apply?

Scholarships are available to Perinton residents who would benefit from support with registration fees for youth programs offered by the Perinton Recreation and Parks Department.

  • Families must submit a brief application and may be asked to provide supporting documentation.
  • Awards are subject to availability and are based on household size and annual income.

  • $75 – Sponsors a child’s full season of Youth Soccer.
  • $80 – Enrolls one child in a full 8-class Red Cross swim lesson session.
  • $150-$200 – Sends one child to a week of Summer Camp, including a weekly field trip, a Friday treat, a t-shirt, and swimming.
  • $300 – Supports one month of Fun Zone, our after-school program offering games, crafts, swimming, homework help, and snacks.
