1/23/26: The Perinton Aquatic Center, including the Leisure Pool, will reopen today, Friday, January 23, at 4:00 PM. The lap pool and hot tub are currently open.
Town staff will continue to closely monitor water levels following reopening as part of our routine facility oversight. If any adjustments to the schedule are needed, updates will be shared promptly.

1/22/26: While we continue to monitor water levels in the leisure pool, the entire aquatic center will be closed from 12-5pm today. The lap pool only will be open starting at 2:30pm.

1/15/26: Over the past week, Town staff have spent significant time testing and evaluating potential sources of water loss in the leisure pool. As part of this work, deteriorated relief valves were identified and replaced, which addressed a major contributing factor. While this work reduced the issue, continued monitoring and review are necessary. Town staff and outside experts are closely monitoring water levels, and the leisure pool remains closed at this time.
Current Pool Status:
- Leisure Pool: Temporarily closed
- Lap Pool: Open during regular hours
- Hot Tub: Open during regular hours
- Open/Drop-In Swim: Available in the lap pool only (reduced capacity)

1/8/26: We continue to make progress in diagnosing and addressing water loss in the leisure pool and have begun draining the pool as part of that process. As a result, the leisure pool remains temporarily closed.
At this time, the lap pool and hot tub remain open. However, effective Friday at 4:00 PM, the entire Aquatic Center will temporarily close through the weekend to ensure the safety of all users.
The lap pool and hot tub are expected to reopen at their regular time of 6:00 AM on Monday. Additional updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
