Jenn Townsend was elected Perinton Town Supervisor in 2025, making history as the first woman to hold the position.
She began her career in public service as an Assistant Court Attorney for the New York State Appellate Division, Fourth Department, and later practiced law in Family Court, gaining firsthand experience with the legal system and the importance of fairness and integrity. She then transitioned into entrepreneurship, co-owning two local businesses in Perinton—Perinton Storage and The Aristo Company—and continues as an owner of Perinton Storage today. Jenn has been an active community member and previously served on multiple boards, including the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester and the Office of Community and Economic Development of the Village of Fairport.
Outside of her role as Supervisor, Jenn is a proud parent of two children, Henry and Georgia, and wife to husband Ted Townsend. Her hobbies include maintaining her historic home in the Village, vegetable gardening, and hiking the Crescent Trail with her family as members and supporters of the Crescent Trail Association.

Meredith Stockman-Broadbent, Town Council

Meredith has served on the Town Board since 2019. A Fairport native, she attended Fairport Schools and graduated from Fairport High School in 1999. She earned her Bachelor’s of Arts at Brigham Young University in Political Science and later completed her Master’s of Science degree at St. John Fisher College in Adolescent Education for Social Studies and Special Education. She and her husband, Curtis, have four children. Meredith currently is a member of the Brooks Hill PTA as well as a substitute teacher in the Fairport School District. She owns Mama Goose on the Loose – a local business serving young children and their families, and LiftBridge Storyworks – helping small businesses with marketing and social media. In addition, Meredith produced and hosted Red Raider Radio – a podcast about “All Things Fairport” – featuring Fairport/Perinton residents. She and her family enjoy organizing many neighborhood activities including ice cream socials and turkey trots, as well as skiing and being at the skatepark.

Michael Folino, Town Council

Michael took office on the Perinton Town Board in 2024. Michael and his wife Melissa reside in the Village of Fairport, central to all Perinton has to offer. Michael grew up off of Jefferson Avenue and is a Fairport High School class of 2000 graduate.
Prior to his election on to the Perinton Town Board, Michael served on the Planning Board for the Village of Fairport. During his time on the Planning Board he took part in the process of overseeing the development of The Cannery project, revitalizing a vacant factory into a vibrant destination.
Michael also served as a Fairport Village Trustee from 2020 through the end of 2023.
Professionally Michael has held New York State certification for backflow prevention device testing for 17 years and is the Plumbing Service Manager for a local family owned mechanical contractor company.
In their spare time Michael and Melissa enjoy attending events throughout the town, hiking and spending time with friends.

Emily Mischler, Town Council

Emily has been a dedicated member of the Fairport community since she began her service as a Fairport village trustee in 2019. A lifelong resident of Perinton, she graduated from Fairport High School in 1995 and has since built a career focused on education and community engagement.
Emily holds a Bachelor’s degree in communications from SUNY Brockport and an Elementary Education Certificate. Passionate about literacy, she earned her Master’s degree in Literacy from Nazareth College. Emily’s commitment to education extends beyond the classroom; she has volunteered in Poland, teaching English to second language learners, and spent 15 years in the Rochester City School District. There, she played a crucial role in a well-regarded coaching program that supported new teachers. Currently, she works as a literacy specialist, teaching primary students fundamental reading and writing skills with the Midlakes School District.
At home, Emily shares her life with her 18-year-old son, Chase, who recently graduated from Fairport High School and is now studying civil engineering at the University of Dayton.
Emily is proud of her work with the Student Advisory Program at the village level, where she created opportunities for young people to engage with local government and discover the importance of civic involvement. Outside of her educational endeavors, Emily is an enthusiastic member of a winter recreation group focused on enhancing recreational opportunities in the community. She is also an active volunteer with the Fairport Perinton Partnership, where she continues to serve and uplift her neighbors.
Emily is passionate about her community and dedicated to making it a better place for all.

Dave Masterson, Town Council

Dave Masterson took office as a council member on the Perinton Town Board in January 2026. He and his wife, Laura, have been proud residents of Fairport for 36 years, where they raised their three adult children—Katelyn Clint, and Sarah—and now enjoy time with their five grandchildren.
Dave is retired after owning and operating an electrical contracting business in Perinton for the past 27 years. He continues to own and operate a family Christmas tree farm here in Perinton, a tradition for the past 30+ years that reflects his deep roots and commitment to the community.
Actively involved in the community, Dave enjoys coaching the Mighty Dunks basketball program through Perinton Recreation. In his free time, he values outdoor activities – especially fishing.

Andrew G. Gilchrist, Town Clerk

Andrew Gilchrist has served as Town Clerk since January 2026. He has been a resident of Perinton for over 15 years and is deeply committed to serving the residents of Perinton. His professional background includes time as a professional opera singer, professor, marketer, data analyst, and systems administrator. Before serving as Town Clerk, he worked as the Manager of Data Strategy and Systems Administrator at Water for South Sudan.
Andrew is an active member of the community. He has coached rec soccer and was an assistant coach for the Fairport Soccer Club. He has been involved with the Boy Scouts of America since he was a child and has served in various positions within the organization. Having called Perinton home for over 15 years, he remains dedicated to preserving the town’s character while evolving its services to meet the needs of a modern community.
Andrew and his husband make their home in the Village of Fairport, where they are raising two children. Their oldest is a Junior at Fairport High School, and their youngest is a seventh grader at Barker Road Middle School. Much of their family time is spent on the sidelines of local athletic fields, cheering on their children at soccer and football games.

Hon. Charles Steinman, Town Justice
Charles Steinman has been a practicing attorney in the Rochester area for 50 years. A life-long resident of Monroe County, he graduated with honors from Binghamton University in 1971 and the Syracuse University College of Law in 1974. After graduation from law school, Charles joined the Monroe County Public Defender’s Office, trying hundreds of criminal cases of all types and severity. In 1983, Charles accepted an invitation to join the New York State Attorney General’s Office, where he worked for almost 20 years, ultimately becoming the Deputy Assistant Attorney General in Charge of the Rochester Regional Office. In this role, Charles not only tried hundreds of civil and criminal cases in state and federal court, he was chief of the litigation bureau of the office. Following his retirement from the Attorney General’s Office, Charles joined Harris Beach, PLLC, as Senior Counsel. In 2010, Charles began his own practice and maintains his law office in the Village of Fairport. Charles is a member of the New York State bar, and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York, the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Charles recently completed nine years of service on the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities Community Services. He is currently a member of Fairport Rotary and a legal volunteer with the Veterans Outreach Center. Charles and his wife, Shelly, a surgical nurse, have lived in Fairport for more than 30 years.

Hon. Gary Muldoon, Town Justice
Gary Muldoon has practiced law in Monroe County for more than four decades, in both the public and private sectors. He worked at the Monroe County Public Defender’s Office and for several years was law clerk to judges. While in private practice, he appeared in state and federal court, on trials and appeals, including arguing before New York’s highest court, the Court of Appeals. He was a member of Rochester City Council for eight years. For many years he has been a teacher, including at the University at Buffalo, both law school and undergraduate school, and at Monroe Community College. Judge Muldoon is the author of several books on legal issues. He and his wife have lived in Perinton for more than 25 years.
